Permalinks? Huh, What?

So, What is a permalink, you might ask. It really is nothing more than the url of the page that you are on. Look up into your address bar. That’s the permalink. These may seem somewhat unimportant. They are not. The default permalink is somewhat cryptic. They tell you nothing about the post that you are reading. Wouldn’t it be better is the url included the title of the post? Yes it would. This helps with the search engine rankings. I discovered this information and a site that is full of little tactics just like this.
